Naked Fly Fishing Charters - Saint Mary's, Georgia - Captain Eric Norberg

H​ello everyone, I am Captain Eric Norberg.  My journey on the water started at 

a very young age.   Fishing throughout Wisconsin and Michigan, with my father, within

all its inland lakes and the Great Lakes.  He taught me the value and technique of using artificial baits, which is something I stand by to this day.   As a teenager, I moved down 

to West Palm Beach, FL where my love for fishing and the outdoors grew even 

stronger. Camping and fishing along the entire east coast of Florida any chance I had. 

This is where I first learned of Fly Fishing, which sparked a new passion for fishing all 

together.  The dream of becoming a fishing guide was born, along with the name I 

chose, Naked Fly Fishing Charters. I now reside in southeast Georgia, where I have 

been fishing the area for nearly 10 years and a Charter Captain for the last 3 years.  I 

work close with the local bait and tackle stores in the surrounding areas and  have 

become close friends with many people in the fishing industry.  I have and still do fish 

many Tournaments along the Florida and Georgia coast. 

 

 

Currently I am a Pro Staff Member of @Hooknup_Fishing, which is an outdoor 

clothing line for anglers.  Also, I am a Pro Staff Member for Boatsticks, a shallow water 

anchoring system, for kayaks and shallow water skiffs. 

 

I was first introduced to Cajun Rods while fishing a kayak tournament in 

Jacksonville, FL.  I have used many different brands of rods throughout my lifetime, 

and nothing compares to the quality of a Cajun Rod.  My goal with all of my sponsors 

is to show the quality and technique of all products to others, including my clients. 

Being a Pro Staff Member for Cajun Rods is a great opportunity for myself and the 

fishing industry.
